ABOUT UNITY WORKSHOP 2014
During the event you will have the chance to learn what is Unity, how to make video games using Unity 3D as well as hear lectures from Andy Touch himself, EMEA Product Evangelist at Unity 3D Technologies.
Andy Touch is a Product Evangelist at Unity Technologies.
Ever since he added physics to 100 cubes and watched them bounce around, Andy has been addicted to experimenting with gaming technology. Having previously taught game development to University students, he is now part of Unity Technologies’ Evangelism team helping to spread the word of the game engine and to show off what it can do!
You can also participate in the Game Hackathon where you can build your own team, create a game from scratch and win prizes for your newly developed product.
The Game Hackathon is a great opportunity for everyone to build a team of enthusiastic gamers, discuss ideas with the participants in the team, create an awesome computer game and use it to win the grand prizes in the hackathon competition with the other teams of developers.
It is advisable not to come to the event with an already established team - there will be plenty of people willing to cooperate with you. The only thing you need is a computer and a competitor spirit!
