Setting up a Home Server

I also think a server in a data center is the vest option. There are a lot of affordable VPS plans too and it is even cheaper than the electricity bill you are going to pay. I will never put something made for the public on a home system. If it is something personal which you want to reach from everywhere, but knowing there could be some downtime, yeah, you can put it on a home server.

Home based s - only if you have perfect connection and non stop electicity. If you are planning to use it all the time - non stop. For a game server - onky fast speed.
